Nepal Solar Observation: Volunteers Reach Out With Astronomy
27 July 2017

Recently, a new group of volunteers has been reaching out with astronomy activities in Nepal. In honour of this, project coordinator Manisha Dwa of the Nepal Astronomical Society (NASO) took over the UNAWE Instagram account in June. Universe Awareness presents this exclusive photo report.

The group of volunteers has been visiting the Children's hospital with a Special UNAWE class, as well as organising Rosetta and Philae activities in areas affected by earthquakes.

This is a photo report of the volunteer work in Nepal, with photographs and captions from the UNAWE Instagram takeover of June:

After the successful completion of the Rosetta Model building workshop at camp HOPE. This camp was made for the earthquake victims from Sindhupalchowk district, Nepal the most heavily affected region.
